Addressable RGB LED Strip Light with Remote and App Control

Individually addressable LEDs are what separate this from a strip that only changes colour as one block. Each segment along the run can hold its own colour, so light chases, flows and fades across the length rather than switching all at once — the difference between a lit shelf and a moving one.

The strip carries 24 LEDs per metre using 5050 chips, with a 180 degree beam angle that spreads light broadly rather than throwing a narrow line, and a colour rendering index of 80. It runs at 12V, dims across its range, and is rated for around 10,000 hours of use. Lengths come in 5, 10 and 15 metres, and the strip can be cut to fit at 10cm intervals, so it follows a shelf edge, a desk frame or a ceiling line without leaving an awkward remainder.

Control comes in two forms depending on configuration: a 21-key radio remote, or Bluetooth with a 24-key remote and music synchronisation that moves the lighting in time with sound. Plug fittings are available for several regional standards. Both coated and uncoated versions are offered — the coated version suits locations where the strip may meet moisture.
